Our Gym School sessions are designed for school-aged children and aim to develop more confident, coordinated and fitter youngsters.

These classes are available at both Basildon Sporting Village and Eversley. Gym School is fully recreational based, teaching the foundations of gymnastics in a fun and engaging way through play, games and skills.

After a warm up, the gymnasts are divided into small colour coded groups that are age dependent,  where they work with a coach and focus on the main 5 pieces, beam, bars, floor, vault and trampoline.​

We run our own In-House SEGC Award Scheme, and the gymnasts are routinely tested three times a year. The awards start at Level 1-6 and once achieved move on to our Advanced Awards.  Some gymnasts may progress into further classes whereas other gymnasts prefer the steady progress. We also award our gymnasts Gymnast of the week and of the month to those that show promise in the areas of achieving a new skill unaided, exceptional listening and helping their peers to name a few of the criteria.

We also offer an in house display and competition for our students once a year to show their progression and skills they have worked so parents and family can watch and show your support in an exciting environment.
