Regional Excel Grades: Medals Galore at Pipers Vale

On Saturday, March 23rd, at the Pipers Vale Gymnastics Club, coaches Caron Notton and Angelica Brookes accompanied our talented gymnasts, Kennedy, Joey, Leah, Penny, and Aria, to the Regional Excel Grades competition. We are excited to report that our gymnasts delivered stellar performances, earning multiple medals ranging from bronze to gold. Kennedy, Joey, Leah, Penny, and Aria showcased their skills with routines that left the audience in awe. The confidence gained from this weekend will undoubtedly fuel their future successes. We are incredibly proud of each gymnast for their dedication and hard work.
Performance Grade 1: A Step Closer to National Finals

On Sunday, March 24th, at the Pipers Vale Gymnastics Club, Beth Phillips guided gymnasts Lia Gurleyen, Arabella Smallshaw, and Charlotte Dunnett through the Performance Grade 1 Regional Qualifier. Lia Gurleyen placed 6th All Around and earned 3rd on range, while Arabella Smallshaw secured 17th All Around and 2nd on range. The highlight of the day was Charlotte Dunnett’s performance, who placed 3rd All Around and will advance to the National Finals as part of the East Team in May. Charlotte also achieved joint 1st on vault, marking a significant milestone in her gymnastics journey. Congratulations to all three gymnasts for their hard work and dedication.
Performance Grade 2: Stellar Performances and National Finals Bound

Beth Phillips continued her brilliant coaching on Sunday, March 24th, as Clara Wilson and Freya Quinn participated in the Performance Grade 2 competition. Clara placed 11th All Around and achieved 2nd on beam, while Freya’s outstanding performance earned her 4th All Around, securing her spot in the National Finals as part of the East Team in May. Freya also took home 3rd on range. We are extremely proud of both gymnasts for their exceptional performances and determination.
Performance Grade 3: Rising Stars and Future Champions

In the Performance Grade 3 Regional Qualifier on Sunday, March 24th, coaches Beth Phillips and Zara Gallichan guided Millie Cripps and Olivia Hann. Millie’s excellent performance earned her 5th All Around, securing her spot as a reserve for the East Team in the National Finals in May. She also achieved 2nd on range. Olivia placed 9th All Around, showcasing her dedication and skill. Both girls made us proud with their outstanding efforts and achievements.
Performance Grade 4: A Triumph for Ester Carter

On the same day, coach Zara Gallichan accompanied Ester Carter in the Performance Grade 4 competition. Ester delivered a stunning performance, earning 3rd on floor and successfully passing the Performance 4 grade. Ester’s dedication over the past six months has been truly inspiring, and her achievement marks the culmination of her hard work. We are incredibly proud of Ester and her accomplishments.
