We're delighted to share the thrilling highlights from our recent competition at the County Development Grades. On Sunday, March 10th, our dedicated coaches, Beth Phillips, Zara Gallichan, Shannon Archer, and Taylor Hallett, led a fantastic group of gymnasts who showcased their talents on the competition floor.
Stellar Performances and Outstanding Results
The list of gymnasts representing South Essex Gymnastics Club was extensive, featuring Amy Tear, Rosie Williams, Noelie Adeyemo, Ronni Rees, Georgina Hodges, Jaiden Robinson, Hanna Zbikowska, Lily Bevan, Lily Mae Baxter, Lilia Davies, Tashai Young, Isabel Cartwright, Celeste Waterfield, Olivia Palmer, Dolcy Hart, Tilly Hines, Olivia Vaughn, Edie Smith, Jessica Tindale, and Daisy Thompson.
In the Development 1 category, Lottie Cripps delivered an exceptional performance, securing 1st place for All Around and Bars, along with notable placements on Floor, Range, Vault, and Beam. Jessica showcased her prowess by securing 2nd place on Bars, while Olivia Vaughn impressed with 4th on Vault and 3rd on Beam.

In the Development 2 category, Jaiden Robinson displayed her skills with a 6th place All Around finish and 3rd on Beam. Dolcy showed her versatility, achieving 5th for All Around and 6th on Floor. Olivia Palmer excelled with a 2nd place on Vault, and Tilly shone with 3rd place on Bars. Isabel demonstrated her strength on Floor, securing 6th place, and Tashai impressed with 5th place on Range.
In the Development 3 category, Amy Tear (age 14+), Rosie Williams (disability), Noelie Adeyemo, and Ronni Rees showcased their resilience and skill. Amy secured an 8th place overall and 6th place on Bars. Rosie Williams achieved an impressive 1st place overall in the disability category. Noelie Adeyemo secured 14th place overall and 6th place on Vault, while Ronni Rees achieved 8th place overall and 3rd on Floor.

Our coaches and gymnasts left the competition with smiles, having not only passed their grades but also achieving remarkable results. Lottie Cripps has qualified for the regional finals in May, a testament to her dedication and skill.
It was a day filled with pride and satisfaction for South Essex Gymnastics Club. The coaches expressed their happiness with the performances and results, and the entire team left the competition floor with well-deserved medals, trophies, and a sense of accomplishment. Here's to the continued success of our talented gymnasts as they aim for new heights in their gymnastics journey!
