Our Rhythmoids shone bright at the Regional Championships and Inter-Regional Open Apparatus held on May 5, 2024, in Oundle, Peterborough. Under the dedicated guidance of Coach Katie O’Connor, our gymnasts delivered impressive performances that showcased their hard work and talent.
Outstanding Achievements
We are thrilled to announce that Lily-Rose claimed the title of 2nd Senior Regional Champion, marking a significant milestone with her first score over 20 in the senior level 4 ball category (20.6)! Pippa also made waves, becoming the Under 12 Regional Champion and earning 3rd in hoop and 4th in clubs at the inter-regional level 4.
Ava brought home a 3rd place finish in the under 9 inter-regional level 1, while Emily C secured 2nd in hoop for the under 10 inter-regional level 2. Sophie S followed suit with 2nd in clubs under 11 inter-regional level 2.
Amelia, competing for the first time, achieved an impressive 2nd in hoop for Junior inter-regional level 1. Lilly was exceptional, winning 1st in ball under 12 inter-regional level 2, and Sophie R topped the podium with 1st in ribbon for Senior inter-regional level 2. Emily S also shined with a 1st in ball for Senior inter-regional level 2, while Lila triumphed with 1st in clubs Junior inter-regional level 2.
Special recognition goes to Lucy T, Lucy R, and Belle for their outstanding performances, each placing in the top 6 of their respective inter-regional age groups.

Coach Katie O’Connor expressed her pride in the team's performance, stating, “We were very pleased with such a strong showing from all the Rhythmoids who attended this competition. It was rewarding to see the girls’ hard work pay off. A special well done to Lily-Rose for her impressive score, and to Pippa for achieving personal best scores in both clubs and hoop.”
