Weekend Wrap-Up: Excel Grades 2 and 3

Our gymnasts showcased their talent at the Excel Grades 2 and 3 competition held on May 10, 2024, at Fenton Manor Sports Centre. Under the expert guidance of Coach Caron Notton, our athletes demonstrated impressive skills and determination.

Outstanding Achievements

We are thrilled to announce that Joey passed Excel Grade 3 in her first national competition, achieving an incredible 5th place overall! Joey also earned a Bronze medal on vault and secured 5th on floor, reflecting the hard work and dedication she has put into her training.

A special shout-out goes to Leah, who stepped in at the last minute to represent the East team. Her performance was nothing short of beautiful, showcasing her talent and composure under pressure.

Coach’s Corner

Coach Caron Notton expressed her pride, saying, “Huge congratulations to Joey on smashing the pass mark in Excel 3 and placing an amazing 5th overall. All the hard work and determination has paid off. Also, a huge congratulations to Leah for stepping in at the last minute and performing her routines beautifully.”
