South Essex Gymnastics Club’s Men Shine at English Championships 2025🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Our South Essex Gymnastics Club men’s team stepped onto the national stage at the English Championships 2025 and what a competition it was!


With strong performances, new skills and standout results, our gymnasts truly made their mark at the Telford International Centre.


Podium Finishes & Strong All-Around Performances


A huge congratulations to Kaydn Jackson, who secured 2nd All-Around with three apparatus medals, demonstrating incredible consistency and skill. Right behind him was George Atkins, who also put out some incredible routines to finish 2nd All-Around in his category.


Other strong performances included:

  • Deshai Knights7th All-Around with 1 apparatus medal 🥉

  • Leo Cozens Boutall8th All-Around

  • Sebastian Solomos11th All-Around

  • Reuben Montrose – Returning from injury and making solid progress 💪

  • Dylan Wright & Harry Smallshaw – Both debuted new skills and upgrades, showing great determination and pushing their difficulty levels.


New Skills & Growth on Display


This competition was also about development and our gymnasts took on the challenge with confidence:

  • Danny put in a great effort, competing new upgrades and routines, proving that his hard work in training is paying off.

  • Alex competed as a guest, looking sharp and showcasing new skills as he continues to progress at a high level.


A Fantastic Weekend of Competition


The English Championships is one of the most competitive national events of the year, and our gymnasts rose to the occasion. From experienced competitors to those testing new skills and upgrades, every athlete showed their dedication and resilience on the big stage.


A massive thank you to our coaching team for their guidance and support throughout the competition. We are so proud of each and every one of our gymnasts, and we can’t wait to see what’s next as they continue to grow and develop this season.
