Verity Adams
Senior Club Coach, Regional and Club Lead Welfare Officer and Head of performance
Assistant Director of Coaching SEGC
Having been involved with the club since we opened in 1992 I am so proud to be part of the senior management leading our programmes. Whilst assisting with all areas of the organisation I am directly responsible for the Welfare and Performance section of the club. With producing multiple medal winning athletes in our men’s, women’s and rhythmic sections at National, European, Commonwealth, World and Olympic level, we pride ourselves on our succession planning and use of knowledge and experience to develop our staff and guide our members. A large part of this success is down to the welfare provision we implement to protect all of our members, staff and associates along their journeys.
I am extremely passionate about safeguarding our members, and of the welfare provision we have developed to enhance all of our programmes at SEGC, whilst protecting everybody involved.
Our safe, child and athlete centred environment, encourages everyone to be able to speak to our team of Welfare officers about any concerns they may have with the safe knowledge that we will treat everything with the upmost of importance and efficiency, whilst being professional and confidential at all times.
People won’t remember what you said, but they will remember how you made them feel.
